Katiliya Mountain Resort and Spa is an all-suite luxury resort providing guests with superb services and facilities, in a stunning natural setting.

Housed within separate villas and surrounded by extensive landscaping, our suites provide the most spacious accommodation in Chiang Rai. The individual suites range in size from 90 to 110 square metres, including large private balconies that open to magnificent views of rolling hills and verdant forests.

Elevated ceilings, capacious wardrobes, tasteful furnishings and a host of fine amenities ensure your absolute comfort. Bathrooms are fitted with separate showers and bath tubs, and separate his-and-hers vanities.

Natural materials are incorporated throughout the property, and each villa is constructed from a blend of natural stone, local hardwood timber and red earth finishing, with floors of teak and bamboo.

The result is a relaxing ambience that embraces its natural surroundings in a seamless blend of nature and stylish architecture.

The Terrace Restaurant offers diverse and exquisite menus, served indoors, or in the crisp open air on the terrace, with an invigorating view of the rolling, forest-covered hills.

The day begins with a generous breakfast buffet and a variety of fresh, made-to-order dishes to please every palette. We have our own bakery to provide the finest bakery-fresh delicacies: butter croissants, fresh, wholesome breads, specialty breads, and a range of delightful pastries.

The extensive lunch and dinner menus offer a wide range of choices, including authentic Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Our open kitchen will delight you with unsurpassed pizzas, hearty steaks of Australian beef, and tasty salmon.

For a night of romance under a starlit sky, try the Baan Thai Restaurant. Situated in a beautifully restored traditional Thai house, this delightful open-air venue is nestled amongst the trees and serves authentic Thai cuisine with a northern touch.

By day, head to the Pool Bar, where you can bask in the sun, enjoy a variety of international snacks and light lunches, and sip cool refreshments throughout the day.

After sundown, The Fireplace Bar is the place to wind down the day over exotic cocktails and drinks. Imagine soft jazz by an expansive fireplace-it's the perfect place to chill-out, enjoy fine beverages and savour imported cigars. We offer a large selection of premium single-malt whiskeys, fine brandies and specialty coffees. Choose your favourites from an extensive wine cellar and nibble on a selection from the Tapas menu.

If you're not in the mood to venture out, you can always dine in the comfort of your luxury suite and soak up the mountain views from your own private terrace.

Location : Chiang Rai is the northern-most province of Thailand, and is about 785 kilometers north of Bangkok and 180 kilometers from the city of Chiang Mai. Enveloping the Kok River basin, the province of Chiang Rai covers an area of approximately 11,678 square kilometres with an average elevation of 580 meters above sea level.

It is truly one of Thailand's most exotic destinations, and within it lies the renowned Golden Triangle where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand converge. For centuries, due to it's natural mountainous boundaries, Chiang Rai was isolated from the rest of Thailand and only became a province in 1910. Fortunately, this isolation resulted in the preservation of the province's unique culture and natural beauty which are now easily accessible for all to appreciate, via excellent roads from Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai's modern international airport.

Today, Chiang Rai is a travelers' paradise endowed with abundant natural tourist attractions and antiquities.
